Barnett, Hogan at Colliers

Bill Barnett and Doug Hogan have joined Colliers International in San Diego County. Both were formerly with Cushman & Wakefield.

Barnett has been appointed senior vice president of the Colliers' Carlsbad office where he will specialize in site acquisitions and the sale and leasing of shopping centers.

Prior to joining Colliers, Barnett was a director at Cushman & Wakefield of San Diego (formerly Burnham Real Estate) and has been in real estate for 26 years.

Hogan, who has also been named as a senior vice president in the Carlsbad office, has worked for 22 years in the commercial brokerage business. His focus is retail leasing and tenant representation.

Robert Pew has formed Tie Commercial Real Estate Services. He had been a broker with CDC Commercial for the past five years,

Pew has been involved in more than $65 million of commercial property sales transactions.

Home Builders Marketing Services

Mark Hoiseth has been named vice president of sales and marketing with Home Builders Marketing Services(HBMS), a San Diego-based real estate services firm that specializes in subdivision sales.

Hoiseth has 16 years of real estate sales experience with Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams Realty.

NAI San Diego

Geri Savitt has been hired by NAI San Diego as an associate vice president specializing in the sale, purchase, and leasing of retail, office and medical properties throughout San Diego County.

Prior to joining NAI, Savitt was with Award Commercial Properties. She was also director of real estate for La Mancha Development Co.

Shirley Kanamu has been named an associate vice president specializing in the areas of disposition and acquisition of development and investment properties throughout the county.

Kanamu was formerly a sales broker at Award Commercial for 9 years.

PCL Construction

Andy Kleimola has been promoted to operations manager of PCL Construction Services.

Kleimola, who has 17 years in the construction industry, was formerly a construction manager with the firm.

Ken McQuarrie has joined PCL as the chief estimator. His primary responsibilities include management of the estimating department, conceptual estimating, and subcontractor relationships.

McQuarrie has 23 years of construction estimating experience. He was formerly e was the chief estimator for PCL's Hawaii office for three years.

John Sherwood has joined Gafcon's Orange County office as senior project manager at the Great Park Design Studio in Irvine.

Sherwood has more than 20 years of experience in urban land planning including the economic development manager for the city of Dana Point.

Don Pelletier of Re/Max Associates in San Diego has earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation, having completed training in foreclosure avoidance and short sales.
