Another step forward took place for the progression of a new park along the San Diego bay as a third public meeting was held Monday evening.

After significant delays due to state funding and over 100 years without a new school, the Heber School District broke ground on its newest campus earlier this month.

The Tustin Unified School District and construction manager Barnhart-Heery have completed the $19-million Foothill High School Science Center in Tustin.

San Diego Contracting has completed a new, 78,000-square-foot ground-up self-storage facility in Whittier.

Sully-Jones Roofing Company has completed re-roofing of the commercial building at 738 W. Washington St. in Escondido.

Richard & Richard Construction Inc. will begin construction on Taylor Group Inc.'s interior space at 301 Mission Ave. in Oceanside. Taylor Group offers geotechnical and environmental consulting services.

PCL Construction Services Inc. has just completed work on a tenant improvement project for NuVasive Inc. (Nasdaq: NUVA).

Developers have until December to decide whether to take legal action against the Poway Unified School District over fees connected to a Rancho Penasquitos apartment project.

Some 30 years after they purchased the land, developers are seeing a new project take shape in Rancho Penasquitos.

When heavy whispers of a labor agreement for San Diego Unified School Districtís Proposition S projects started at the beginning of this year, many did not know what effect it would have on the $2.1 billion bond measure.
